Open transport vs real-life expectations

Hi everyone! I keep seeing mixed opinions about open car transport. Some say it’s perfectly fine, others warn against it. For someone shipping a regular daily car, does open transport usually meet expectations in real life?

For most everyday vehicles, open transport matches expectations better than people assume. I used Compare The Carrier to understand this difference more clearly, especially when reviewing how services are positioned through the
official car transport comparison by CompareTheCarrier
. Open carriers are the industry standard and move thousands of cars daily without issues. Yes, the car is exposed to weather and road dust, but serious damage is rare. What really matters is carrier reliability and insurance, not the trailer type alone. People expecting showroom-perfect delivery sometimes feel disappointed, but for normal use cars, open transport usually does exactly what it promises — safely gets the car from point A to point B.
